Service Area & Scheduling
What areas do you serve?
We're based in Santa Rosa and serve all of Sonoma County, including Rohnert Park, Petaluma, Sebastopol, Healdsburg, Windsor, Guerneville, and surrounding communities. A travel fee of $1 per round-trip mile applies beyond 10 miles from the Highway 101 and Highway 12 interchange. Not sure if you're in range? Just call — most of Sonoma County is easily covered.
Do you make house calls?
Yes — house calls are our most common service. We come to your home or business throughout Santa Rosa and Sonoma County. No need to pack up your equipment and haul it somewhere.
How quickly can you come out?
Most appointments are available within 1–2 business days. For urgent situations, call us directly and we'll do our best to accommodate you. After-hours service is also available by arrangement.
What are your business hours?
Normal hours are Monday through Friday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. After-hours and weekend appointments are available at the after-hours rate of $75/hr — call to check availability.
Pricing & Payment
How much does computer repair cost in Santa Rosa?
On-site service in Santa Rosa is $50 for the first hour (which includes the service call), then $50 per hour after that. In-shop work is $35 per hour. After-hours service is $75 per hour. See the Pricing page for full details.
Do you charge for a diagnosis or estimate?
Quick phone consultations are free. If we need to come on-site to diagnose a problem, standard hourly rates apply — but we'll always let you know what we find before proceeding with any paid repair work.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept cash, check, credit card, and Venmo. Payment is due upon completion of service unless otherwise arranged. For larger jobs, a partial deposit may be requested upfront.
Do you offer any discounts?
We offer reduced rates for non-profit organizations. If you're a non-profit in Sonoma County, mention it when you call and we'll discuss what makes sense.
Common Problems
My computer is really slow. Can you fix that?
Usually yes. Slow computers are typically caused by malware, too many startup programs, a full hard drive, failing hardware, or simply needing more RAM. We'll diagnose the cause and fix it — or tell you honestly if the machine is past its useful life and help you choose a replacement.
Can you remove a virus from my computer?
Yes. Virus, spyware, malware, and ransomware removal is one of our most common services. We'll remove the threat completely and give you practical advice on staying protected going forward.
Can you recover data from a crashed hard drive?
In many cases, yes. Success depends on the type and extent of the failure. We'll assess the drive and give you an honest picture of what's recoverable before you commit to anything.
My Wi-Fi keeps dropping. Can you help?
Absolutely. Intermittent Wi-Fi is one of the most common complaints we hear. The cause is usually a misconfigured router, interference from neighboring networks, outdated firmware, or hardware that needs replacing. We'll find it and fix it.
I think I got scammed online. What should I do?
Don't panic, but act quickly. If you gave anyone remote access to your computer, change your passwords immediately from a different device and call your bank if any financial information was involved. Then call us — we'll check your system for any software that may have been installed and help you secure your accounts.

Do you work on Macs as well as PCs?
Yes. We support PC, Mac, and Linux systems equally. We also support iOS and Android smartphones and tablets.
Can you set up my smart home devices?
Yes. Smart doorbells, thermostats, speakers, security cameras, and other connected devices — we'll get them set up, connected, and working together correctly.
Do you build or design websites?
Yes. We offer custom HTML/CSS website design as well as WordPress sites for small businesses and non-profits. We also offer Google Business Profile setup and optimization, and ongoing website maintenance.
Can you help me buy a new computer?
Absolutely — and this is one of the most useful things we do. The wrong purchase wastes money; the right one lasts years. Tell us how you use your computer and your budget, and we'll point you toward the right machine. We can also set it up and transfer your data from your old one.
